Dekatron Corporation is certified by the US Small Business Administration to be a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business.

Dekatron is also a minority-owned business and is certified by the Department of Transportation (DOT-MBE), the State of Pennsylvania (PA-DBE), and the State of Florida (FL-DBE).   Dekatron is also a certified Small Disadvantaged Business.

Dekatron was founded in 1991 by Steve A. Silva, a veteran and reservist.   Since that time, Steve has been called to active duty for several tours.   Throughout these many absences, the Dekatron management team has continued to provide top quality systems integration services to it clients.  Mr. Silva has recently returned from his last tour and has resumed his leadership role as Dekatron's CEO.
